VERNON PHILANDER went past the landmark of 50 wickets for the first-class season on his way to career best figures of 7/61 on the second day of the SuperSport Series match between the Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras and the Chevrolet Knights at Sahara Park Newlands on Friday.
