Free State Cricket announces official partnership with Twizza Tuesday, 19 May 2015 Twizza and Free State Cricet are pleased to announce their new partnership relating to the exclusive in-stadia selling and product rights for all domestic matches played at the Mangaung Oval. CEO of Free State Cricket Union, Johan van Heerden says: “Together with being the exclusive carbonated soft drink supplier to the Knights and Free State Provincial Team Twizza will receive branding rights at the Mangaung Oval. We are excited with the new energy and innovation Twizza will bring to the in-stadia experience. With Twizza’s strong consumer focus and affordability their support will make a big difference to the growth and development of the game and to make cricket a truly national sport that is supported by all in the Free State.” Niel Austin, from Twizza comments: “Twizza is proud to be associated with Free State Cricket. For years, Free State consumers have supported Twizza and now it is time for us to give something back to them. Twizza is an active, fun brand full of vitality, so there is a good brand fit. In addition, we are passionate about making a difference in communities in which we live and work and look forward to being involved with the development of Cricket in the Free State.” About Twizza Twizza Soft Drinks was founded by Ken Clark in 2003, when he happened to come across some antiquated soft drink manufacturing equipment. Although Ken already had his hands full with Crickley Dairy, he liked the idea of creating a soft drink line so much that he installed a state-of-the-art carbonated soft drink line on Crickley’s Queenstown site. Thanks to a dedicated, passionate team, Twizza’s production far surpassed that of the already prosperous dairy, and the factory thrived so much that in November 2012, a second facility was opened up in Middelburg. In the face of continuing hikes in energy prices and persistent power cuts, the Middelburg factory is committed to sustainability, with technology that is 25 per cent more efficient on power. Twizza is also harnessing the heat naturally generated from the machines to dissolve sugar for the beverages. Start to finish, it is one of the most sophisticated lines in the country. Each of Twizza’s many flavours is individually tasted, tested and perfected, so that every product on the market is as near perfect as possible. Today, despite competition from international soft drink brands, Twizza supplies loyal consumers in the Eastern Cape, Free State and beyond with proudly South African refreshment.

    Facebook

Knights to take the crease in TK Apparel Monday, 11 May 2015 TK Apparel and Knights Cricket have announced a 3 year partnership, which will see the Knights play in official TK kit for both home and away matches. CEO of the Knights, Johan van Heerden commented: “With the involvement of TK with various other cricket fraternities such as Indian Premier League teams Kings XI and Royal Challengers we are excited to be associated with an organization that gained huge success in sports globally. Their strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality makes this partnership a great fit and makes the Central Cricket Franchise proud to welcome TK to our cricket family of impressive commercial partners. The involvement of TK we look forward in a partnership that together will continue developing cricket in the Central Region both on and off the pitch.” It is with much greatness and pride to announce our involvement with the Knights cricket franchise. We are pleased to say that we are now part of the Knights family. Johan van Heerden and his team have been doing a great job the last few years, not just on the field but also off the field. This year will be our first year with the franchise and I am very excited to reveal the new playing strip for the 2015/16 season to the team. I hope the fans also like what they see because there will be a big drive to give the Knights fans the opportunity to get their hands on some replica gear. We at TK would Iike to wish Johan, Sarel and the players a successful season. We have no doubt with their professional set up that they will make us all proud. About TK A small room with four machines were the only resources we had when TK Apparel was started in 2009 by our visionary leader, Mr. Rajan Kohli who also happens to be a die hard sports enthusiast. Though our beginning was small our aspirations were not. We aspired to become the best solutions provider for athletes who wanted to look good and perform better, for them to perform better we needed to put our best game forward, and that is what we did. Just like a Cricket Test match we started building a strong foundation by focusing only and only on consumer satisfaction and quality. We kept leaving the deliveries out side the quality stump with patience and it paid off as the reputed National Indian Hockey - Men and women - Senior and junior teams became one of our first clients followed by UP Cricket Association and Cricket Association of Bengal for the Ranji Trophy. By 2012, we were well settled on the crease and our performance was making the top shots of the Indian and Global sporting fraternity take note of us. This was when one of the franchises of the Indian Premier League, Kings XI not only become our clients but so impressed were they with our quality they promoted us as well. What began as a Test match for us has today become a high octane T-20 Journey and we are not alone in it. Today we are associated in various roles with Kings XI, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers, all teams of The Caribbean Premier league in 2013, Most of the the Ranji Trophy teams including MCA where Sachin Tendulkar played hist last Ranji Trophy match in TK attire , Awadhe Warriors of The Indian badminton league, 4 Teams of The Indian hockey league in 2013 and many big corporate like SAHARA , Indian Oil , ONGC , SAP , Air India , India Cements , CAG etc. Despite such clientele in such short time, despite our team growing from less than 100 to over 400 in just 5 years and despite making a strong foot hold in markets like South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, USA, and Europe, we feel we have just begun. With our feet firmly set on the pitch we want to keep batting for our customers and admirers. We are here for the long haul, we are here to provide you the complete apparel solutions for your game, we are here to make you " LOVE THE GAME YOU PLAY "
